Do I need experience to join?
No, we welcome new and experienced agents. We have all the tools you need to be successful as a travel advisor new or experienced.
What's required of me as an agent?
If you have a passion for travel, willing to help grow our agency and can check the box on any or all of the items below, you’re a perfect fit for Horizon Dream Travel!

Does HDT have seller of travel licensing in all states that require it?
We are licensed in the states of Florida, California, and Washington. However, we are not licensed in Hawaii.
Am I considered and employee of Horizon Dream Travel?
No, you are an Independent contractor (1099 based income) of Horizon Dream Travel operating under our business entity and credentials. It is a commission-based role and is not a hourly position.
Am I required to obtain additional E&O Insurance?
HDT carries a $1M policy but it is strongly recommended you get your own but is not required to do business.
Do I enter my planning fees in TESS?
Should you chose to use the HDT’s account and links, you will need to track this in TESS. Our supplier’s processing and transaction fees will be deducted from your proceeds. However, should you choose to process your own planning fees, you will need to keep track of your fees separately and outside of TESS. We recommend using PayPal or Stripe. Please be aware that charging fees are prohibited in some states; it is your responsibility to check for your state.
How and when will I get paid?
Our suppliers pay HDT your commission and we pay commissions to you every Tuesday via PayPal. A PayPal account is required to receive commissions.
Can I change my commission tier anytime?
No, you can only change your commission tier on your anniversary date. You will need to make this request no less than 30 days before your anniversary date. Please submit a ticket to [email protected] that contains the tier you’d like to move to.
Will I be able to keep my clients if I leave HDT?
As an independent contractor acting on behalf of Horizon Dream Travel LLC, all clients belong to Horizon Dream Travel LLC. However, at this time, we do not require a non-compete to be signed as part of your contract. Horizon Dream Travel LLC will continue to service, market to and solicite any clients brought in during your contracted term with Horizon Dream Travel LLC.
Can I cancel my membership at anytime?
Yes, you will need to give HDT a minimum of 30 days notice for cancellation. Refunds unavailable for unused monthly/annual subscription terms.
